Working Test Conditions of entry

Instructions for Completion of Paper Entry Form
 The entry form must be completed by one person (or partnership).
 All entrants must have read the conditions of entry.
 Members who do not have internet facilities can enter by sending the form to the Secretary, address found
above.
 Enter test venue and date in top box.
Enter class in the class box using the following abbreviations:
N = Novice – the dog not to have won a place or CoM in a Field Trial or been placed 1 st , 2 nd  or 3 rd  in an Open
Working Test or 1 st  in a Novice Test.
P = Puppy – any dog/bitch under 18 months on the day of the test.
 Complete a separate form for each class.
 Entries to be submitted by closing date as per schedule.
 Persons entering by FTMS or sending form electronically DO NOT PAY on submission of form. If the
competition is oversubscribed there will be a draw for places as per schedule, successful applicants will be
informed via email or telephone with instructions how to pay.
 If a draw is conducted, preferences as per Conditions of Entry will be allocated.
 If payment is not received by 4 days prior to the test, your run may be offered to the next place on the
reserve list.

Anyone entering working tests must read the following conditions of entry.
Conditions of Entry:
 The club reserves the right to limit the numbers of entries on any one day. There will be a limit of 15 Puppy
and 25 Novice entries.
 If an event is oversubscribed, then a draw will be conducted, and competitors notified by e-mail or
telephone.
 Draw preference classifications are listed below, it is the competitor’s responsibility to ensure they enter the
correct preference, although these will be checked by the WT admin:
NOVICE &amp; PUPPY
1. Members 1st dog
2. Members 2nd dog
3. Non-Members

 If you are drawn, then immediate payment is required preferably via FTMS or BACs to:

Should you be unable to pay via these methods a cheque should be sent to the above address prior to the
closing date. If payment is not received 2 days before the event the place will be offered to a reserve.
 Dogs entered must be Kennel Club registered in the Gundog Group (J1.a./J7.a./B20) and if a registered dog
has changed ownership the Transfer must be applied for before the closing date of entries.
 Should circumstances so dictate, the club in consultation with the judges, may alter arrangements as
necessary.
 Videography and photography will only be permitted with the express permission of the Chief Steward or
host.

Welfare of Dogs
A competitor whose dog is entered should take reasonable steps to ensure the needs of their dog(s) are met and
should not knowingly put their dogs’ health and welfare at risk by any action, default, omission or otherwise. A
breach of this regulation may be recorded in the incident book and referred to the Kennel Club.
Dogs in Hot Cars
Please take care of your dogs. Your dog is vulnerable and AT RISK if left in a vehicle in high temperatures and even
on days considered slightly warm. If your dog is found to be at risk, forcible entry to your vehicle may be necessary
without liability for any damage caused.
Health
 Bitches in season are NOT allowed on the ground.
 Anyone knowing of their dog being in contact with any infectious disease should not attend the test.
Competitors enter at their own risk. Neither the Club nor the Hosts can be held responsible for any damage, loss
or injury to person or property however occasioned.
Out of respect for our hosts please pick up and take all poo bags away with you.
